Nipmuck Trail Marathon
Shenipsit Striders organizes this race every year on the Nipmuck Trail as part of the Blue Blazed Running Series. That group defines it as "a classic old-school New England trail race taking place along a northern section of the Nipmuck Trail, consisting of a 26.4 mile ‘marathon’ and Marathon Relay." The course runs mostly in Ashford. The 2024 race was held on October 6.
